What we build
Bath and access remodeling
Four kinds of work, most of them in the bathroom or at the door. We start every project with a walk-through of the whole house, so the first job is the one that matters most.
Curbless showers
A shower with no step to climb over, a floor sloped to the drain and walls ready for a bench or bar.
How it is builtTub-to-shower conversions
A low-step shower in the space of the tub, with solid walls where a hand lands.
Compare the optionsGrab bars and toilets
Bars set into blocking behind the wall, a comfort-height toilet, and a vanity that works for a seated or standing person.
Where bars goEntries, ramps and rails
Rails on both sides, an entry with no step to trip on, and a ramp built to a slope your parent can use.
Ramps and rails
Beyond the bathroom
The smaller changes that add up
Doors and thresholds
Wider door openings, offset hinges and low thresholds, so a walker or a wheelchair fits through.
Floors
A floor with grip and no loose edges, with rugs taken out of the path to the bathroom.
Lighting
Light on the way from the bed to the bath, switches at both ends of the hall and stairs.
Kitchen reach
Shelf and counter changes so everyday dishes are within reach without a step stool.
Not sure where to start?
That is what the walk-through is for. We look at the whole house and tell you what to do first.
