Owner, aging-in-place specialist

About us
Evenfloor does bathrooms and entries for older homeowners and the families who help them. That is nearly all we do.
Most of our calls come from sons and daughters. They are trying to do right by a parent who would rather not talk about it. We built the firm around that call: a visit that starts with listening, a report in plain words and a schedule set around the person who lives there.
Led by a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist
Bathrooms and entries are most of the work
The same lead on site from start to finish
A written report and a written estimate before any work

The crew
You will see the same few people from the walk-through to the last day.

Runs the schedule and is the voice between visits. Keeps the permit file and the change orders in order.
Lead carpenter
Frames the floor and walls, sets blocking for bars and builds the ramps and rails.
Tile setter
Waterproofs and tiles the showers. Tests every shower floor before it is covered.
Carpenter
Builds steps, rails and thresholds, and does the finish carpentry after the floors are done.
Scheduling and estimates
Books the walk-throughs, writes the estimates and answers the phone.
How we work
We ask your parent what is hard before we say what we see.
A report after the walk-through, an estimate before the work and a change order before any change.
If a handyman or a therapist is the better call, we say so.
The schedule, the water and the toilet are agreed before day one.
Book a walk-through and we will come to the house.
